Weekend Manager

The Weekend Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive team atmosphere while overseeing inventory control, cash handling, and operational procedures to drive store success. Responsibilities • Lead and supervise weekend staff to ensure efficient store operations and outstanding customer service. • Oversee sales management, including monitoring retail math, pricing strategies, and promotional activities to maximize revenue. • Manage inventory control through stock management, purchasing, merchandising, and stocking to maintain optimal product availability. • Handle cash handling procedures, cashiering duties, and payroll processing with accuracy and integrity. • Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and performance. • Implement effective management practices including shift management, budgeting, and organizational planning. • Maintain excellent communication with team members and customers while ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Skills • Strong leadership abilities with previous supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or grocery settings. • Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are highly valued. • Proficient in POS systems, retail math, inventory management software, and cash handling procedures. • Skilled in negotiation, recruiting, interviewing, and employee orientation to build a motivated team. • Experienced in merchandising, marketing strategies, pricing techniques, and retail sales techniques. • Capable of managing store operations including stock control, purchasing, budgeting, and administrative tasks. • Demonstrates exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control. • Adept at time management and multitasking in a dynamic environment while maintaining high standards of customer service.
